Outside of work, Aaron enjoys fishing, traveling with his family, and coaching a travel baseball team that his son plays on. He takes immense pride in his children, who continue to amaze him every day. If he weren’t running his auto repair facility, Aaron would likely own another small business, drawn to the challenge of building strong teams and creating workplaces where employees can grow to their fullest potential. Deeply committed to giving back, he values supporting the community that has supported his business for over 75 years. His efforts include sponsoring local school sports programs and fundraisers, donating school supplies to Flint’s inner-city schools, and organizing a collection of over 17,000 bottles of water for children during the Flint water crisis.
Courtney enjoys spending time with her family, camping, and making sourdough breads. She is most proud of her two daughters, who are the center of her life. While she can’t imagine pursuing another career now, she was once intrigued by the idea of owning a restaurant. Her first car was a 1988 Pontiac Fiero in mint condition, which she purchased from her great-grandmother.
Randi enjoys spending time with her family, cheering on her son in sports and her daughter in dance, often accompanied by their dog, Maggie. She loves traveling with her family, especially to escape the cold weather, and also helps coach her daughter’s dance team while serving on the non-profit Bring More Good for the past five years. Randi is most proud of being married to her best friend for 20 years. If she weren’t in her current role, she humorously notes she would have loved Vanna White’s job on Wheel of Fortune, before retiring to run a dog rescue. Her first car was a 1989 Pontiac Bonneville, and her dream car would be an old Bronco or a Dodge Challenger—she loves going fast!
Outside of work, Nathan enjoys creating music and spending time with people. He is most proud of being part of building a national brand. If he weren’t in his current role, Nathan would likely pursue a career in music marketing or digital content creation. His first car was a Chevette, and while he doesn’t have a specific dream car, he values vehicles that are well-built and built to last.
Derrick enjoys working around the house and yard, spending time with his family, and watching hockey. He also loves outdoor activities like camping and fishing. Derrick is most proud of his two children, who he credits with shaping who he is today. While he doesn’t have a particular passion for working on cars, his interest in the automotive industry led him into management. His first car was a 1989 Mercury Grand Marquis, and his dream car would be a 1965–1970 Dodge Coronet. If he weren’t working in the automotive field, Derrick believes he would pursue a career involving facts, numbers, and statistics—perhaps in engineering or a related field.
Jim enjoys bowling, target practice, and traveling. He is most proud of his family, who remain the center of his life. If he weren’t in his current role, Jim would have pursued a career as a pilot, drawn to the opportunity to travel and see the world. His first car was a 1972 Chevelle, which also remains his favorite car to work on.
Brianna enjoys watching true crime documentaries and TV shows on streaming services. She is most proud of her contributions to Grand Pointe Automotive, valuing the hard work, dedication, and quality that the team puts into every job, as well as the trust customers place in the shop. If she weren’t part of the automotive world, Brianna would pursue a career in senior health care, drawn to the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors by providing care, support, and companionship. Her first car was a 2006 Pontiac Aztek, and her dream cars include a 1995 Ford Bronco and the 2025 2-Door Ford Bronco Heritage Edition.
Tayler enjoys spending time with her two boys, especially during their special movie nights together. When not with her kids, she can often be found curled up on the couch watching scary movies. Tayler is proud of her growth since joining Grand Pointe Automotive four months ago, appreciating how much she has learned about the automotive world and valuing the opportunity to learn from experienced team members every day. Her first car was a Ford Bronco, and she also has a fondness for the Subaru Legacy.
Dennis enjoys golfing, snowboarding, riding dirt bikes with his kids, and spending quality time with his family. He is most proud of his children and the close-knit family he has built. If he weren’t in his current role, Dennis would likely have pursued a career in aviation, drawn to the excitement of flying and exploring planes. His first car—and lifelong favorite to work on—is a Mustang.
Johnathon enjoys golfing, bowling, attending baseball games, and spending time with his family. He is most proud of his children, Vincent (4) and Leia (2). If he weren’t in his current role, Johnathon would likely pursue a career as a CAD designer or programmer, a passion he discovered in high school while writing CNC code and operating CNC machines during shop class. His first car was a 1995 Chevrolet Silverado, and he considers Chevy vehicles his favorite to work on due to their reliability and ease of maintenance.
Mark enjoys spending his time outside of work at home, working on various projects. He is proud to have been married for over 50 years and cherishes his two children and two grandchildren. Mark’s first car was a 1967 Mercury Cougar, and his dream collection would include a fleet of American cars from 1950 to 1970. His favorite car to work on is a 1963 Chevy II he had while serving in the Air Force—a six-cylinder with a Powerglide transmission. A veteran of the United States Air Force, Mark served in the 321st Combat Support Group (SAC) in Recreation Services. After retiring from GM, he reflects that if he hadn’t pursued his automotive career, he might have stayed in the Air Force to experience the discipline, organization, and travel it offered.
Daniel enjoys watching TV, playing cards, and sharing beers with friends and family. He takes pride in helping friends and family with auto repairs, combining his skills with a desire to lend a hand. If he weren’t in his current role, Daniel says he might have pursued a career as a doctor, drawn to the opportunity to help others. His first car was a 1984 Dodge Aries, and his dream car is a gloss-black 1967 or 1970 Dodge Charger R/T with a 426 Hemi and all chrome trim. True to his straightforward nature, Daniel values honesty and discretion in both life and work.
